After receiving a DD I have been asked numerous times if there is any meaning behind the shot or if it was just supposed to be a cool composition. So here is my answer:
Originally the idea behind the shoot was just "hot stripper with lot's of money",...but during the shoot the model wanted to change the mood of the rest of the shoot, so she took off the stripper shoes and she laid on top of the money in a similar pose. I asked her to get in a somewhat "fetal" position and try to emote a sense of comfort or tranquility as if she was floating or being suspended by the money. The whole idea, to me, was the sense of comfort or "security" that money can give.
I have long been a fan of the fantasy artist Michael Parkes,...and a long time ago I purchased one of his lithographs called "Angel of August". I actually tattooed the image on my right thigh. Unknowingly the model almost exactly duplicated the pose and it game me that same sense of serenity and peace as his painting. You can view it here:
